Things are heating up in South Beach, Miami as we are just over a week away from one of the most unique and inclusive events Florida has ever seen, TheCons.
Imagine bringing some of the most influential people in cannabis, adult entertainment, and tattooing together all in one place… and cranking it to eleven. For those unfamiliar with Spinal Tap, this is an over-the-top vendor, fan show, and pool party that you do not want to miss.
Beginning May 28, three leviathan conventions will join forces to create an immersive experience for industry professionals and consumers alike. TheCons can be described as an alternative lifestyle expo that combines three emerging industries: live cam (CamCon), tattoos (InkedCon), and cannabis (CannabisCon) – and brings them together under one roof. Taking place May 28 – June 1, 2019 at the SLS South Beach in Miami, Florida this marijuana-friendly trade show is already drawing a huge crowd, with attendance numbers nearly reaching capacity two weeks ahead of the show’s launch.
“We had tremendous success with CamCon early on when we launched in 2014, which inspired us to expand into InkedCon and CannabisCon,” said TheCons co-founder Clinton Cox, “but with medical marijuana finally legal in Florida, thanks to the Florida Medical Marijuana Legalization Initiative, we expect a sellout crowd and peak interest beyond anything we’ve seen here before.”
CannabisCon is sponsored by the rapidly growing social media platform BlazeMeet and they are hoping to gather patients, advocates, doctors, and MMTC’s in a welcoming, educational, and entertaining environment. This year CannabisCon will also welcome The 420 Doctor on site to evaluate prospective medical marijuana patients, and the showroom floor’s exhibition space has already sold out of its booths and garden tables.
This adults-only event will welcome over 50 company sponsorships, 120+ industry professionals and company exhibitors, local and national media coverage (including your very own CannaChronicle), and more than 4,000 attendees. In addition to vendor tables and cannabis patient evaluations, guests can also expect a variety of seminars, networking parties, and performance displays to benefit the industry’s content providers, models, and affiliates.
“We are so excited and proud to create an important educational opportunity for trade attendees and fans,” added co-founder Stacey Havoc, “and we look forward to working with intelligent and open-minded people that understand the incredible potential of cannabis and the cannabis industry at large.”
Registration is now open for TheCons (www.thecons.biz), CamCon will take place at the SLS Hotel’s Bazaar pool area; InkedCon will be in the Hyde Garden and the Clyde Lounge, while CannabisCon will be held in the Hyde pool location. Registered attendees will have access to all three conferences throughout the hotel.
